Freelance Translator, English into French (Canada)

About the role

The IQVIA Translation Services team is looking for freelance translators who translate life sciences content from English into Canadian French. The position is remote and can be done from home; although it is posted in Canada, residence there is not required. Permanent positions may also be considered.

Required profile

• Native fluency in Canadian French, spoken and written.
• Fluency in English, spoken and written.
• At least 1 year of experience translating, reviewing and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents, clearly described in the CV.
• A university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 2 years of translation experience, or no degree and at least 5 years of translation experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Prior experience with a translation and localisation company is desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools is a must.
