About the role
We are looking for a skilled Framer/Carpenter to join our construction team in Rocky View. The role involves building structural components for residential and commercial projects while adhering to building codes and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements and prepare layouts.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Availability for early‑morning, morning, day, weekend shifts and overtime as needed.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading and layout preparation.
- Measuring and cutting of wood and related materials.
- Assembly and joining of structural components.
- Installation of windows, doors and hardware.
