About the role
We are seeking a skilled Framer/Carpenter to join our construction team in Edmonton. The role involves building structural components for residential projects, working at heights and outdoors.
Key responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, lightweight steel and other materials to construct foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Instruct apprentices and maintain a safe work environment.
Required profile
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Team‑player attitude.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading.
- Accurate measuring and cutting.
- Carpentry and framing techniques.
- Installation of windows, doors and hardware.
