Framer Helper – Construction

About the role

Join a residential construction team as a Framer Helper, working outdoors on various sites in Surrey. You will support framing, roofing and site preparation while gaining hands‑on experience in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Level earth to fine‑grade specifications.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Perform routine maintenance work.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Required profile

• Dependable, reliable team player with good oral communication.
• Physically capable of handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lb) and working outdoors at heights.
• Willingness to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks.

Required skills

• Use of hand and power tools (drills, saws).
• Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
