Founding Tech Recruiter – Remote Freelance

About the role

Pragmatike is seeking a Founding Tech Recruiter to help shape its next phase of growth. You will act as a strategic partner within the startup ecosystem, pioneering how we find, attract, and engage world‑class tech talent.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with the startup and tech talent community, becoming a visible advocate for Pragmatike.
• Design recruiting systems, processes, and standards from scratch and collaborate with product and engineering to refine hiring approaches.
• Recruit across a variety of functions—from engineering to go‑to‑market—and see the direct impact of your work on the business.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles, either in‑house or at a search agency.
• Comfortable in fast‑moving startup environments and able to thrive amid ambiguity.
• Clear written and verbal communication, making every candidate feel valued.
• Well‑connected and respected within the recruiting community, with an active personal brand.
• Strong focus on quality, processes, and candidate experience.
• Willingness to work flexibly in a fully remote, freelance‑friendly role.
