Founding Business Development Representative

About the role

Staff Rodeo is seeking a Founding Business Development Representative to help launch the next wave of customers for its AI‑driven staffing platform. As one of the first commercial hires, you will work closely with the founders to shape go‑to‑market strategy and build relationships with staffing leaders across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage owners, CEOs, and recruiting leaders within the staffing industry.
• Introduce Staff Rodeo’s platform, conduct product demos, and guide new clients through onboarding.
• Collaborate directly with the founders to refine sales messaging, strategy, and overall market approach.
• Collect and relay customer feedback to inform product development.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑building mindset and genuine curiosity about clients' needs.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑moving startup environment where ideas have impact.
• Passion for AI and its potential to transform staffing and recruiting.
• Experience in staffing, recruiting, HR technology, or B2B software sales is a plus.
• Existing network within the staffing industry is highly advantageous.
