Forward Deployed Engineer, Integrations

About the role

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead client onboarding for Sardine’s fraud and compliance products. You’ll manage end‑to‑end integrations, translate technical requirements into solutions, and ensure a smooth, successful deployment. This hands‑on role works closely with clients and internal teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage implementation and integration efforts for fraud and compliance products.
• Provide end‑to‑end support during client onboarding, ensuring client success.
• Own APIs, SDK documentation, integration guides, and support documents.
• Analyze client requirements and design solutions based on system capabilities.
• Oversee implementation projects, monitoring quality, timelines, risk, and deliverables.
• Understand customers’ business problems and technical needs to deliver solutions using Sardine’s technology.
• Provide product feedback to internal stakeholders as the eyes and ears on the ground.

Required profile

• 4+ years in technical roles such as Integrations Engineer, QA Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, Systems Analyst, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
• 2+ years of B2B SaaS experience in payment, fraud, risk, or compliance domains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and drive deliverables.
• Experience with basic SQL querying and JSON payload analysis.
• Experience with API specifications (OpenAPI), web development, and scripting tools (bash, Python, Ruby, Golang, Postman).
