Forklift Operator – Warehouse & Production

About the role

Durabuilt is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join its warehouse team in Edmonton. You will be responsible for moving materials safely and efficiently across our production and distribution areas, supporting the flow of goods for one of Western Canada’s leading window and door manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Maintain accurate documentation of material movements and equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, load capacities, and loss‑prevention policies.
• Report any equipment damage or safety hazards promptly.
• Assist in organizing inventory, keeping work areas clean, and supporting continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of forklift experience in a warehouse or production environment.
• Valid forklift licenses and willingness to upgrade skills as new equipment is introduced.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting and lift heavy PVC, aluminum, or wood products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
