Forklift Operator – Full‑time Morning Shift

About the role

The Forklift Operator ensures safe and efficient loading, unloading and storage of customer freight in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. This full‑time morning shift position works Tuesday to Saturday, supporting the flow of goods for a well‑established logistics company.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a propane‑powered forklift to load and unload freight from trucks.
• Confirm inbound freight by scanning items or completing required forms.
• Verify packing labels for accuracy before shipment.
• Report any damaged freight or quality concerns to the Facility Supervisor.
• Meet efficiency targets set by standard operating procedures and the Warehouse Manager.
• Perform additional duties as required by the team.

Required profile

• Valid forklift license for propane‑powered equipment.
• 1–2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or transportation setting.
• Clear criminal record.
• Ability to communicate in French or English.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Ability to lift 50 lb repeatedly.
• Good time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
