Foreman/Forewoman – Wooden Truss Manufacturing

About the role
The company is seeking a motivated Foreman or Forewoman to lead a small team in the production of wooden trusses. This on‑site position is based in Calgary and offers hands‑on involvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit production reports and recommend productivity improvements.
- Resolve work‑related problems, provide technical advice, and ensure product quality.
- Train staff or arrange training, oversee safety procedures, and manage material, equipment, and supply requisitions.
- Set up machines and equipment, supervise 3‑4 workers, and coordinate daily work schedules.
- Monitor and recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school) certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Excellent oral communication, flexibility, good judgement, organization, and teamwork.
- Ability to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks, handle heavy loads, and maintain attention to detail.
