About the role
The Food Services Manager will oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service, quality food preparation, and a welcoming environment for guests. This role involves managing staff, controlling costs, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant budget.
- Monitor staff performance and set work schedules.
- Determine service types and implement operational procedures.
- Organize and maintain inventory while ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers and clients for catering or facility use.
- Address customer complaints, provide excellent customer service, and evaluate daily operations.
Required profile
- College or equivalent diploma (1‑2 years) or comparable experience.
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant management is an asset.
