About the role
MR MIKES Steakhouse is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to lead the front‑of‑house and kitchen support team in its Cranbrook location. The role combines scheduling, inventory control, staff training and customer service to ensure a high‑quality dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Establish work schedules and coordinate staff activities for food preparation and portioning.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient needs and maintain stock records.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays, ensure sanitation and safety procedures are followed.
- Train staff on job duties, hygiene standards and safety protocols.
- Address customer complaints, monitor quality control and prepare reports on sales, waste and repairs.
Required profile
- Minimum secondary school graduation and 1‑2 years experience in food service or restaurant supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, stand for extended periods and pay close attention to detail.
- Strong client focus, teamwork, initiative and dependability.
