About the role
We are looking for a Food Service Supervisor to lead a team of 5‑10 staff in preparing, portioning and delivering meals at Church's Texas Chicken in St. Albert. The role involves ensuring quality standards, managing inventory and handling customer concerns in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including tray assembly and trolley delivery.
- Train staff on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Address customer complaints, ensure quality control standards and prepare reports.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1–2 years of experience in food service or restaurant supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, stand for extended periods and manage a team of 5‑10 people.
- Strong client focus, interpersonal skills, oral communication and flexibility.
