About the role
We are seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure quality and safety standards at our North Vancouver location.
Key responsibilities
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Hire food service staff.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Establish work schedules.
Required profile
- College diploma or equivalent (1‑2 year program) or comparable experience.
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience in food service supervision.
- Client focus with excellent oral communication.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking.
- Attention to detail and a team‑player attitude.
