Food Service Supervisor – Fast Food

About the role

The Food Service Supervisor will lead a small team in a fast‑paced Subway outlet, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and customers receive high‑quality service. This role combines schedule planning, inventory control, and staff development in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate staff shifts.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient needs, and maintain stock records.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 3‑4 staff members who prepare, portion, and assemble food.
• Train employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Ensure food quality and service meet company standards and address customer complaints.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and waste; prepare and submit reports.
• Oversee assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.

• Efficient interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Flexibility, dependability, and a strong team‑player attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and lift moderate loads.

Required skills
