Food Service Supervisor (Canada)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Food Service Supervisors to join hospitality and food‑service employers across Canada. The role involves leading front‑line teams in restaurants, hotels, cafés or similar environments, ensuring high standards of service, quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily food‑service activities and support front‑line staff.
• Train, schedule and mentor employees.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, cleanliness and food‑safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with supply orders.
• Address customer concerns and service issues professionally.
• Support opening and closing duties, cash handling and record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in food service or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Functional proficiency in French and English (CLB 5 or higher).
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eligibility for a Canadian work permit or valid Canadian work status.
