About the role
We are seeking motivated volunteers to pick up unsold baked goods from local bakeries and deliver them to planned locations across Toronto and Scarborough. Volunteers will build relationships with donors and recipients while managing the food‑drive process from start to finish.
Key responsibilities
- Learn about Save‑The‑Bread’s mission, attend induction or training, and understand your role in the food‑drive process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing donors.
- Pick up baked goods from bakeries and deliver them to designated sites.
Required profile
- Committed, motivated and organized individual.
- Clear background/police check.
- Hygienic with a good sense of cleanliness.
- Valid driving licence and personal vehicle for deliveries.
