Food Counter Attendant – Seasonal Full‑Time

About the role

Join DECKB'S Family Restaurants as a Food Counter Attendant in Listowel. This seasonal full‑time position involves serving customers at the counter, handling food preparation, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Take customers' orders and package take‑out food.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
• Keep records of the quantities of food used.
• Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Handle and store cleaning products safely.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors, and removing kitchen garbage.

Required profile

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience is an asset.
• Must meet language requirements (English or French).
