Food & Beverage Server (Restaurant & Pub)

About the role

The Fort Pub & Grill is seeking a friendly and reliable Food & Beverage Server to join our team in Edmonton. You will work in a fast‑paced restaurant and pub environment, providing excellent service to guests during day, evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patrons, present menus, describe daily specials and make recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders, relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and serve items promptly.
• Present bills, process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, travellers’ cheques) and handle gratuities.
• Advise customers on wine selections and describe menu items, including alcoholic beverages (legal age required).
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Enforce provincial liquor legislation and ensure responsible service of alcohol.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• Excellent oral communication, organized, reliable and a strong team player.
• Experience in a restaurant or pub setting is an asset.
