About the role
Join Norden Food's fish processing facility in North Vancouver, where you will handle, cut, and package fish and seafood products for market.
Key responsibilities
- Cut and weigh fish fillets according to specifications.
- Clean, trim, and prepare fish or seafood for marketing or further processing.
- Inspect fillets to determine the optimal number and size.
- Check products and packaging for defects and perform corrective machine adjustments.
- Record production information and set up/operate packaging machines.
- Weigh fish or shellfish, record weight and pack in ice.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas.
Required profile
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
- Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lb) and perform physically demanding tasks.
