Financial Data Analyst – Remote Contract ($40-$65/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Data Analyst to work remotely on a contract basis. You will analyze, annotate, and validate complex financial datasets, ensuring high‑quality data for our data science and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex financial data to ensure accurate annotations.
• Utilize advanced spreadsheet techniques to organize, validate, and manipulate large datasets.
• Label, annotate, and categorize financial data with consistency and precision.
• Collaborate with data science and product teams to share financial insights.
• Review and validate financial documents for completeness and compliance with guidelines.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong relevant experience in finance, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Demonstrated experience with financial data annotation or data labeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
