Financial Controller

About the role

NetAdmins, a managed IT services provider in Saint John, is seeking a Financial Controller to own the company’s financial engine. Reporting directly to the President, you will blend detailed transaction work with strategic oversight to support a growing technology business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and present monthly financial results to senior leadership.
• Monitor cash flow, manage working capital and maintain internal controls.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and variance analysis.
• Develop financial models for staffing, pricing and investment decisions.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, month‑end close and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors for year‑end close.
• Manage payroll processing, statutory remittances, T4s, ROEs and GST/HST filings.
• Supervise procurement, inventory, vendor relationships and HR compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements as the business scales.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including full‑cycle accounting, AP/AR and payroll.
• Proven ability to budget, forecast and present financial information to non‑finance audiences.
• CPA designation strongly preferred or actively pursued.
• Experience in professional services or technology environments is a plus.
