Financial Analyst, Cost Accounting

About the role

IKO Industries Ltd., a leader in roofing and building materials, is seeking a Financial Analyst & Cost Accountant to drive financial performance monitoring and cost optimisation across its 22 North American production plants. The role blends hands‑on cost accounting with corporate FP&A to standardise tracking, identify variances and support strategic multi‑plant decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update product standard costs across all manufacturing facilities.
• Oversee standard inventory valuation, obsolescence reserves, and annual physical inventory counts.
• Audit Bills of Materials (BOM) and routing configurations to ensure accurate product costing.
• Update, maintain, and audit intercompany transfer pricing across the plant network.
• Ensure alignment of transfer prices between shipping and receiving plants within ERP systems.
• Document transfer pricing methodologies to support corporate tax and internal compliance rules.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards to rank and compare plant efficiency and profitability.
• Assist senior analysts with annual operational budgets and monthly rolling forecasts.
• Analyze product line and plant‑specific margins to guide corporate pricing strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CMA, CPA, or CFA designation highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of cost accounting or financial analysis experience in manufacturing (building materials or roofing a plus).
• Hands‑on experience with the JDE ERP platform.
• Ability to travel as needed to multi‑state plant operations.
