Financial Analyst - Accounting

About the role

Leclerc, a family‑owned food manufacturer with operations in North America and Europe, is looking for a Financial Analyst – Accounting to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Corporate Financial Controller, you will support accounting operations across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom while leading projects in taxation, budgeting, financial reporting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing for Canadian, U.S. and UK entities, recording and reconciling accounts.
• Process cash, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and tax entries.
• Execute tax‑related tasks for Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom and assist with year‑end tax audits.
• Prepare documentation for insurance files and grant applications.
• Contribute to the preparation of budgets and financial statements.
• Handle foreign‑exchange transactions in multiple currencies.
• Support continuous improvement of internal controls and accounting processes, especially through ERP and data‑analysis tools.
• Perform any other related accounting tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• CPA designation (or in progress).
• Experience with multi‑jurisdictional accounting, taxation and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work autonomously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using data‑analysis tools.
