Financial Accountant – AI Fabric

About the role

The Bell AI Fabric Financial Close Controller team is looking for a motivated Financial Accountant to support the transformation of the financial close function. You will partner with business units, ensure accurate and timely financial results, and help drive process improvements through technology and best‑in‑class governance.

Key responsibilities

• Support centralisation and optimisation of the financial results close process.
• Partner with business‑unit stakeholders to understand operations and analyse results.
• Manage risks, provisions and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
• Prepare, review and approve month‑end transactional processes, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain the control environment, SOX documentation and audit readiness.
• Identify gaps in data and reporting tools, collaborate with IT to resolve them.
• Lead special projects and recommend technology‑driven process improvements.
• Analyse and present financial information to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field.
• Experience in financial close, month‑end reporting and risk management.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and audit requirements.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders.
