About the role
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our community‑focused organization in Revelstoke. This part‑time position will oversee budgeting, financial reporting and grant administration to support our programs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, control and monitor budgets and expenditures for projects.
- Review financial reports and conduct variance analysis.
- Establish and implement financial policies, procedures and control systems.
- Oversee collection, analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Prepare funding and grant applications and proposals.
- Maintain accurate financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in non‑profit finance.
- Strong accuracy, organization and ethical standards.
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Required skills
- Automatic Data Processing (ADP) systems.
- Microsoft Excel.
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Accounting software.
- Windows operating system.
