Finance and Administration Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Finance and Administration Manager to lead financial strategy and resource management for its large‑scale infrastructure projects in Canada. You will work closely with project teams and joint‑venture partners to ensure sound financial performance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and supervise the financial strategy of projects in collaboration with project management.
• Manage economic resources, optimise cash flows and profits, and align them with company objectives.
• Control the overall project budget, including accounting, balance sheets, accruals and variance analysis.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities and ensure compliance with federal, provincial and local regulations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, analyse deviations and update cash‑flow forecasts.
• Maintain relationships and negotiate with financial institutions and joint‑venture partners.
• Lead internal, external and statutory audits, providing documentation and resolving findings.
• Supervise finance and administrative personnel, handling workload planning and performance management.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.
• Ability to analyse financial data, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Experience in managing budgets, cash‑flow forecasting and audit processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in finance, occupational health and construction safety.
