Field Service Technician

About the role

The Field Service Technician at Grimco ensures customers’ equipment operates at peak performance through on‑site and remote support. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise a range of industrial products while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide post start‑up support and ensure optimal process performance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on company product lines.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues both on‑site and remotely.
• Inspect, install, replace parts and refurbish equipment to meet quality standards.
• Offer technical guidance and recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Run diagnostics, prepare detailed service reports, and document warranty work.
• Contribute to corrective‑action development for continuous improvement.
• Travel across assigned regions in Canada and the United States to meet service needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in equipment installation, troubleshooting or technical support.
• Post‑secondary education preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence, personal vehicle (car allowance and gas card provided) and passport for cross‑border travel.
• Ability to lift 50+ lb, stand for long periods and perform frequent bending, stooping and reaching.
• Advanced or fluent French language skills.
