About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Farm Worker to join our blueberry farm in Abbotsford. The role involves hands‑on work in all stages of blueberry production, from planting to harvest, under varying weather conditions. Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience.
Key responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, irrigate and weed blueberry crops.
- Harvest ripe berries and assess product quality for market readiness.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Perform agricultural services such as plowing, spraying and fertilising.
- Follow farm safety and bio‑security protocols.
- Monitor crops for disease and health issues.
Required profile
- Physically fit for demanding, repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Team player with reliability, good judgement and flexibility.
- Attention to detail and strong hand‑eye coordination.
Required skills
- Farm machinery operation and maintenance.
- Crop irrigation and cultivation techniques.
