About the role

Join Sony Music Entertainment Canada’s Artist Growth & Fan Evolution team as a Fan Acquisition & Engagement Intern. You will support the digital presence and audience interaction for priority artists, gaining hands‑on experience in music marketing and social media strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Artist Growth, Fan Evolution, and Artist Marketing teams to develop custom solutions for releases and campaigns.
• Monitor trends, pop‑culture moments, and platform updates to identify timely promotional opportunities.
• Conduct influencer research, communicate with creators, and propose amplification strategies.
• Create compelling copy and design visually engaging social‑media posts.
• Moderate content and oversee platform activity to maintain a positive online presence.
• Assist with internal reporting and performance tracking of campaigns.
• Partner with the insights team to analyze data and optimize marketing tactics.
• Organise and execute contests and fan‑engagement initiatives, handling design, legal, communication and fulfilment aspects.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post‑secondary program focused on music, entertainment, digital media, or marketing.
• Familiarity with talent management or influencer ecosystems.
• Digital native with strong personal use of social‑media platforms.

What we offer

• Paid internship at $17.75 CAD per hour.
• Full‑time schedule (up to 37.5 hours per week) on‑site in Liberty Village, Toronto.
