Family Practitioner – Primary Care Team

About the role

Fraser Health is seeking a licensed Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join an innovative primary health‑care team in Mission, BC. You will work within a multidisciplinary group that delivers both urgent and longitudinal primary‑care services to a diverse community, including vulnerable and medically complex patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, person‑centred primary and urgent care to patients of all ages.
• Collaborate daily with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, counsellors and allied health professionals.
• Ensure culturally safe and quality care that meets the needs of the local population.
• Maintain timely access to care through flexible 4‑hour or 8‑hour shift scheduling.
• Document clinical encounters accurately and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Current licence to practice as a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner in British Columbia.
• Commitment to team‑based, patient‑focused care.
• Willingness to work flexible shift patterns (4‑hour and 8‑hour longitudinal or urgent care shifts).
• Interest in serving a growing rural‑urban community.
