Family Practitioner (Locum) – 3‑Month Maternity Cover

About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner or General Practitioner to join our clinic on a three‑month locum basis, covering a maternity leave. The role involves providing primary care to a panel of approximately 950 patients, predominantly young families and women under 50.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct brief (≈10‑minute) appointments for 15‑20 patients per day.
• Provide routine and preventive care, manage uncomplicated medical histories, and address acute concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure continuity of care during the provider’s absence.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to uphold a collegial and supportive environment.

Required profile

• Licensed Family Practitioner or General Practitioner eligible to practice in Canada.
• Experience in primary care, preferably with a young, family‑oriented patient panel.
• Availability to work 3‑4 days per week, including at least one full in‑person day.
