Family Practitioner / General Practitioner – Langley Clinic

About the role

The Medical Clinic is opening a modern primary‑care facility in Langley Township and is seeking a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join its collaborative team. You will deliver comprehensive primary‑care services to a high‑demand patient population in a busy, well‑supported environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑scope family medicine services, including preventive care, acute illness management, chronic disease follow‑up, and minor procedures.
• Conduct patient examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using the Quipo EMR system.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and the clinic’s operational team to ensure efficient workflows.
• Participate in on‑site quality improvement initiatives and community health programs.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with current licensure to practice in British Columbia.
• Experience in primary‑care or family medicine, preferably in a high‑volume clinic.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Quipo electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Familiarity with fee‑for‑service (FFS) and alternate payment plan (LFP) billing models.
