Family Physician – Women’s Health

About the role

We are seeking a Family Physician with a focus on Women’s Health to join our multidisciplinary clinic in North Toronto. The role involves delivering comprehensive primary care and specialised women’s health services within a supportive, patient‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary care and women’s health consultations, including assessments, preventive screenings, and chronic disease management.
• Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Offer lifestyle counselling, health promotion, and preventive advice.
• Collaborate with on‑site specialists such as psychiatry, physiotherapy, and naturopathy to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate, high‑quality clinical documentation in the EMR system.
• Participate in clinic meetings and continuous‑quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) with a Family Medicine residency.
• Eligibility for a CPSO license (or already licensed).
• CCFP certification preferred.
• Professional liability coverage (CMPA) and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to patient‑centred, ethical, and collaborative practice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically OSCAR.
