Family Physician Locum with 100% First Two Weeks Billing

About the role

We are seeking a family physician to join Welcome Medical Clinic in Burnaby on a locum basis. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and offers the flexibility to work on‑site, remotely, or a combination of both while providing comprehensive family practice and walk‑in clinic services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary care to a diverse patient population, including routine exams, chronic disease management, and preventive health.
• Complete medical documentation, doctor’s notes, and form fees using the clinic’s EMR system.
• Handle private fee services such as driver’s medicals, uninsured visits, and other ancillary procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes specialists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care while adhering to clinic policies and provincial regulations.

Required profile

• Medical licence to practice in British Columbia.
• Experience in family medicine or primary care.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible scheduling.
• Willingness to engage with both in‑clinic and remote patient interactions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oscar EMR.
