About the role

Station Pointe Medical Clinic is seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join its primary‑care team in Edmonton. You will provide comprehensive medical care to individuals and families, ensuring continuity of care across all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
• Examine patients to identify diseases, injuries, and overall health status.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, X‑rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Consult with specialists to evaluate physical and mental health concerns.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Advise patients on preventive health measures and lifestyle choices.
• Coordinate and manage primary patient care, including acute care management.

Required profile

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
• Licensure by the provincial or territorial medical authority.
• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) or equivalent.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Availability for morning, evening, night, on‑call, weekend, and day shifts as needed.
