About the role

The Family Physician will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages in a clinic setting. This role involves delivering both acute and chronic medical management, preventative health services, and patient education while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
• Provide preventative healthcare services, including health screenings, immunizations, and wellness counselling.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health promotion, and lifestyle management.
• Stay current with advancements in family medicine, clinical guidelines, and best practices.

Required profile

• Qualified family physician able to manage a broad range of medical conditions.
• Experience providing care to patients of all ages in a primary‑care or walk‑in practice.
• Strong commitment to preventative health and patient education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills
