Family & General Practitioner – Multi‑disciplinary Practice

About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join a large, multi‑disciplinary, inter‑professional health care team. The role focuses on maternity, infant and child development, as well as caring for complex patients, frail and elderly individuals in both community and residential settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care covering maternity, pediatrics, and geriatric populations.
• Manage chronic diseases through a robust program supported by diabetes and respiratory nurse educators.
• Collaborate with residential care facilities and community partners.
• Participate in training medical students, nurse practitioner students, and family practice residents.
• Contribute to the expansion of the group practice and strengthen ties with Fraser Health Authority and the University of British Columbia.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Family Medicine or General Practice physician.
• Experience with maternity, pediatric, and geriatric care.
• Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork and teaching.
• Willingness to work in a community‑focused environment.
