Facilities Supervisor

About the role

The Facilities Supervisor is a key member of the Woodfibre LNG team, responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all on‑site buildings, infrastructure and facility systems. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role provides frontline supervision of maintenance staff, contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of standards, work practices and procedures for building operations.
• Supervise daily operation and maintenance of onsite buildings and facilities.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, lighting, building automation and general infrastructure.
• Conduct routine facility inspections, identify deficiencies and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and facility documentation.
• Support capital projects, upgrades and long‑term lifecycle planning.
• Manage and monitor contractors, vendors and service contracts, including catering, cleaning and waste removal.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising building operations and maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of multiple building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, lighting, automation).
• Ability to coordinate contractors, vendors and service providers on‑site.
• Familiarity with safety, environmental and quality compliance requirements.
