Facilities Manager

About the role

Fitzrovia Property Management is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and strategic development of its commercial and residential real‑estate portfolio in Toronto. You will ensure that all facilities run safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate construction and modification projects for commercial, transportation, and recreational facilities.
• Plan, organize, and direct daily operations, including cleaning, security, parking, snow removal, and signage.
• Develop and manage the facilities budget (CAD 4‑8 million) and prepare regular financial reports.
• Administer contracts for supplies, services, and leasing, and oversee marketing strategies for space leasing.
• Implement safety inspection schedules, preventive‑maintenance programs, and oversee equipment repairs.
• Hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education in a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in building services or residential real‑estate facility management.
• Strong analytical ability to assess project costs and operational performance.
