Facilities Attendant – Campus Recreation

About the role

The Facilities Attendant supports the Athletics & Recreation unit by ensuring smooth operations of sport activities on campus. Working under the direction of a supervisor, you will interact with participants, manage equipment, and help maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist participants with check‑in for sport activities.
• Greet clients, answer inquiries, and provide a positive first impression.
• Set up and take down equipment for various recreational programs.
• Monitor sporting areas and promptly report any issues requiring immediate attention.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• At least one year of related experience, preferably in customer service or equipment handling.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
• English communication skills at a functional level.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $16.85 (CAD) on a part‑time schedule (approximately 4 hours per week).
• Fixed‑term contract from August 30, 2026 to April 30, 2027.
• Coverage under the AMUSE collective agreement.
