Export Traffic Clerk – Logistics & Shipping

About the role

The Export Traffic Clerk will coordinate the movement of goods from our Montreal facility to international destinations. You will ensure shipments are prepared accurately, scheduled efficiently, and documented in compliance with regulations. This position operates in a fast‑paced, urban food‑processing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Determine optimal shipment methods and schedule distribution of goods.
• Arrange transportation conveyances and prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
• Assemble containers and crates, maintain internal record‑keeping, and record shortages or damaged goods.
• Route goods to appropriate storage areas and oversee loading and unloading operations.
• Supervise material handlers and helpers to ensure safe and timely handling.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or equivalent 1‑2 year program in Logistics, Materials, or Supply Chain Management.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English and French; additional languages Mandarin, Spanish, or Castilian are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
