About the role
Sonepar Canada is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high‑level administrative support to the President of Sonepar Ontario and other senior managers. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations, managing information flow, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the President’s calendar, schedule meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and process confidential documents, correspondence, and monthly expense reports.
- Generate sales and vendor performance summaries using Cognos, Power BI, and Rubicon.
- Provide basic IT troubleshooting and support for office equipment and phone systems.
- Coordinate new‑hire onboarding, including LMS course assignments and office setup.
- Maintain data plans for mobile devices and oversee phone system administration for corporate and branch locations.
- Draft special reports, corporate announcements, and assist with event planning such as meetings and holiday parties.
Required profile
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, especially for confidential information.
- Attention to detail in financial reporting and document preparation.
- Proactive problem‑solver comfortable with basic technical support tasks.
