Evening Production Worker – Galvanizing Plant

About the role

Join Corbec Company’s galvanizing facilities as an Evening Production Worker. Reporting to the Production Coordinator/Supervisor, you will handle customer steel parts before and after the hot‑dip galvanizing process during the evening shift.

Key responsibilities

• Organize your workspace for efficient handling of steel parts weighing 5‑50 lb.
• Unpack incoming customer materials and select the optimal hanging method using clamps, chains, combs, etc.
• Secure parts for galvanizing, then later unhook them by removing chains or cutting pins.
• Perform finishing tasks with grinders, files, and zinc paints, touching up any quality defects.
• Stack finished parts on pallets, barrels, or trailers and package them for shipment.

Required profile

• Ability to stand for an 8‑hour shift.
• Physical capability to lift and manipulate parts between 5 lb and 50 lb.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to follow supervision.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hand tools such as grinders, pliers and files.

• Hourly wage of $20.16 plus an evening‑shift premium.
• Full‑time schedule: 40 hours/week, 2:45 PM – 10:45 PM.
