About the role

WhiteWater is seeking an Estimator to develop cost estimates for waterslide complexes and aquatic play structures. The role operates in a fast‑paced environment, supporting sales and budgeting phases by delivering accurate, detailed estimates under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for waterslide complexes and aquatic play structures.
• Prepare RFQ documentation and obtain internal and external quotations.
• Review contract and bid documents for completeness and compliance.
• Collaborate with slide designers and architects to align client requirements with budget constraints.
• Conduct gap analyses, root‑cause investigations and provide corrective recommendations.
• Create detailed scope‑of‑work documentation and Bills of Materials from scratch.

Required profile

• Engineering or Project Management degree, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of construction or manufacturing estimating experience, preferably in the amusement sector.
• Ability to read and interpret construction/engineering drawings.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Willingness to work occasional outside‑normal hours and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for cost modeling.
• Experience with Power Apps and Power BI.
• Construction drawing interpretation.
• Bill of Materials creation and take‑off calculations.
• Cost estimating and statistical analysis.
