Equine Veterinary Intern – Delaney Veterinary Services

About the role

Join Delaney Veterinary Services as an Equine Veterinary Intern and gain comprehensive exposure to both in‑house and ambulatory equine practice. You will rotate through surgery, medicine, and reproduction services while working alongside a supportive, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide care for in‑house equine cases and assist with examinations and surgical procedures.
• Deliver primary care and handle selected emergency duties.
• Participate in on‑call emergency rotations, initially under direct supervision.
• Support ambulatory services, including field visits and emergency response.

Required profile

• Graduate veterinarian from an AVMA‑accredited school.
• Eligibility to obtain licensure in the Province of Alberta.
• Recommendation to complete an externship at Delaney Veterinary Services prior to applying.
• Submission of a current resume, letter of intent, and three professional references.
