Entry-Level Labourer – 12‑Hour Rotating Shift

About the role

Domtar is seeking motivated entry‑level labourers to join its Port Mellon mill. You will work on a 12‑hour rotating schedule, supporting a 24/7 operation in the pulp and paper industry.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned areas.
• Follow health, safety and environmental standards.
• Perform housekeeping, equipment operation and general mill duties as needed.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Required profile

• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong commitment to personal and co‑worker safety.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods (standing, walking, shoveling, climbing, bending, lifting).
• Comfort working with or around machinery and equipment.
