Engineering Technician

About the role

Aversan Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support engineering, testing, troubleshooting, and production activities in a fast‑paced technical environment. The role involves hands‑on work with electrical, mechanical and electronic systems, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering teams with testing, validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, or electronic systems.
• Perform assembly, calibration, inspection, and functional testing of engineering prototypes and production equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing system, hardware, and equipment issues and provide timely corrective actions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, technical specifications, and work instructions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and document technical findings, test results, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality teams, manufacturing, and project stakeholders to ensure timelines are met.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and configuration records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and safety procedures.
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and preventative maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering technician, manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or technical support environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, testing procedures, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory equipment, testing tools, and diagnostic instruments.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
