Engineering Manager

About the role

Purity Gas is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its engineering function. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, release, build, change, and support of nitrogen generation systems through controlled, scalable, and repeatable technical processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Engineering department, including workload planning and technical prioritisation.
• Own engineering output quality, drawing and Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy.
• Manage engineering change control and the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.
• Provide technical review discipline and cross‑functional support to Production, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Field Service.
• Implement practical engineering controls and maintain configuration discipline.
• Support ISO 9001:2015‑aligned workflows and drive the transition toward a modular, production‑ready engineering model.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in an engineering environment.
• Strong mentoring and team‑development skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple internal functions and external customers.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and standardisation of engineering processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD drawing tools.
• Experience managing Bills of Materials (BOM) accurately.
• Knowledge of Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
