About the role

Talos Automation is seeking an experienced Engineering Department Manager to lead its Burlington engineering team. This hands‑on leadership position focuses on project execution, team development, customer support, and driving engineering excellence across hardware and software systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering personnel.
• Oversee engineering projects from design through implementation.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Review system designs, specifications, and technical solutions.
• Support customers with troubleshooting and technical guidance.
• Drive continuous improvement, training, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with internal teams and customers to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Background in electrical controls, automation, or industrial systems.
• Strong project management and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
